Melanotan 2 (MT-2) is a synthetic analog of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone.

Developed in the 1980s, Melanotan 2 has been shown to increase sexual arousal, reduce compulsive/addictive behaviors, curb hunger, and promote lean mass.

Research has shown that the peptide stimulates melanocytes, producing increased skin pigmentation, and may help combat autism when used during early childhood development

What is Melanotan 2?

Melanotan II is a synthetic cyclic analog of naturally occurring α-MSH (melanocyte-stimulating hormone), a truncated version of melanotan I with a longer half-life.

Melanotan II was originally developed as a “tanning” hormone, but researchers have also reported increased libido in patients.

Research has shown that Melanotan 2:
